Your data will be used exclusively for scientific research in the field of dentistry, with the aim of contributing to the advancement of knowledge, improving treatments and the quality of oral health care.

During treatment, your data will be identified and accessible only to authorized professionals involved in your care.

For research activities, whenever possible, the data will be pseudonymized or anonymized so that you cannot be directly identified.

Your data may be accessed exclusively by authorized researchers, professionals involved in care and members previously approved by the Research Ethics Committee, respecting the access controls defined by the project.

Your data will be stored for the period necessary for the execution of the research and compliance with legal and regulatory obligations, as determined by the Research Ethics Committee.

The data may be used for training, validation and evaluation of computational algorithms developed to support dental diagnosis. The results produced by Artificial Intelligence systems have a purpose of clinical decision support and do not replace the assessment carried out by the responsible dentist.

Your information is protected and used only in accordance with current legislation and for the purposes described in this form.

You may, at any time:

• Request access to your data;
• Correct incomplete or outdated data;
• Withdraw this consent;
• Request the deletion of your data, when applicable.

You may withdraw this consent at any time, without prejudice to your dental treatment, subject to limitations regarding data already used in established scientific analyses.
